Sucessful Home Show and contest!

I had a great homeshow yesterday! It is always nice to see everyone! I am closing in on my goal of 12 shows in May and I am committed to a new incentive Premier Designs is offering! A cruise, paid for totally by Premier Designs for my husband and I! I need to have more homeshows and catalog orders and I will need to have all of the help I can get so if you would like to help and get paid for your time in free and half price jewelry, let me know.

Fashion Show Success

After a wonderful night last night full of glitz and glamour and hair and makeup, I am tired.  However, dressing the girls in their clothing and accessories, aka, jewelry was a blast!
Everyone looked great and loved the jewelry! The girls were amazing as they strutted their stuff on the runway...I even got some pictures taken of me haha and I got announced and sold some jewelry. I would say all in all it was a success!
I also met some key individuals that are really "in" the fashion world.  It seems strange being that this is Albuquerque but they really knew what they were talking about and do massive shows on a weekly basis in and around the area. I never knew that.
I am really excited to see what the future holds and please keep praying that everyday, I am one day closer to being a full time mommy and jewelry lady. Premier Designs is by far the best company to be a part of it that is your goal as well!!!
By the way, if you are in your 30's...ORANGE is the IN color! I love Jessica Simpson shoes and these are great! I will take care of your jewelry, get these shoes and then call me!!

Affirmation!

This morning I was getting my son dressed so he could ride with daddy to the babysitters house. He was screaming and crying because he knew he had to leave me. It absolutely broke my heart! I got tears in my eyes with him and reassured him how much I love and adore him but he was clinging to me and saying momma, momma, momma. He just wanted me.
I got him in his carseat and snuggled down with his bear and blankets and gave him extra kisses and love. He stopped crying and I told him it wouldnt be long.
That was terrible but also very, very motivating to get home even sooner!!
Tonight is a HUGE fashion show here in town and I am providing all of the jewelry! I am hoping and praying I can sell a ton, book a bunch of home shows and add 7 people to my team. I know people will be coming in from all over so it the perfect opportunity to build my business and give others the chance to change their lives as well. I pray that it is a very successful night for me that leads into opportunities beyond my dreams so I can be home with my son!
I am ready to go and have my day planned out. It is going to be long and I probably wont be home until 11pm but hopefully all of my preperation and effort really pays off!

Fashion Show!

I met with the clothing designer, Anita Colon last night to match my Premier Designs jewelry with the outfits and got everything picked out! Its going to be a huge event!!!! I also just got off the phone with the event coordinator who sent out 5,000 invitations and I just viewed the confirmed list! It is HUGE!!! This could really be what I need to send my business sky rocketing! Cross your fingers and say your prayers for me!
I am going prepared to work and take orders like crazy! Bring your check books and credit cards people, its jewelry time!
Aside from that I feel like I am so busy my head is spinning but that is OK with me because pretty soon I will be home with my little man and I will have much more time for jewelry, cuddling and providing a wonderful, loving home for my husband and son!
Oh and I also started training for the 5k run that my sister and I are going to be participating in.  It will be next month in June so I have about 6 weeks. I was a sprinter and hurdler in high school but that was 10+ years ago and to be honest, I am not much of a runner. In fact my training program started with a one mile brisk walk followed by 2 minute run, walk intervals until I had reached 3.5 miles. Whew, and I was pushing a jogging stroller loaded with a one year old and a dog. But it felt great to do it, one day at a time, I will get there and it will be fun to do this race with my sister. :-)

Big News and Many Changes

With all of the excitement this weekend, the royal wedding, being wrapped up in one little boys super birthday party, Osama bin Laden being killed and everything else going on in ones life, I realize, with everyday, there are many opportunities to get down, feel sorry for yourself but also to be thankful, to be humble and to be gracious!
There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful to be an American and living in this great country where I have the right to work or stay home or do as I choose. I also have the right to wear the clothes I wish and be who I want. Others dont always have that freedom,
Although we are "free", we must never forget that freedom isnt free.  It comes at a cost. There are many men and women out there putting their lives on the lines for us, people they dont even know. Their families and loves ones praying for them daily and yet, above all, they protect us and OUR families. It amazes me! I am so thankful to those selfless individuals!
Switching gears, to a lighter note and back to the topic of my journey to be a stay at home mom. I am going to the designers house tonight to show her my jewelry.  It turns out there are two shows and not just one.  That means, two opportunities and not just one! I am very excited for this new door and to see what is on the other side for my business. I am praying it puts me a few steps closer to my goal!
Ive also booked yet another show. I am still trying to get to 12! I will get there.
I have all kinds of stuff for Premier going on in the next 10 days so things will be very busy! I must, must, must hit my goal of at least 3 new jewelers by the 17th so please everyone mention me in your prayers! Its coming, I can feel it.
I have some phone calls to make to book a few more shows and get guests to training and our Shopertunity! Although, I am double booked on Wednesday so I'll be calling in some resources for sure.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for coming to my sons birthday and the great gifts he got! His favorite was a plush pony and this race car set that he cant get enough of! How cute it is to see all ages of little kids playing and blowing bubbles and getting along so well! It was great to see all of our wonderful friends as well.  We are so very blessed for those that we have in our lives!
