Hectic and Busy but blessed

After a long weekend of errand running, cleaning and getting everything ready for our trip across country, I realized this morning how truely blessed we are as I watched two dove and a Cottontail run and play with one another around a bush outside out back windows. They were so happy and carefree and enjoying the world. I thought how nice it was to see that and have my one year old son see that. I reminded me that no matter how busy we are, there is always time for playing and smiling and laughing.
I delivered a past hostess her jewelry this morning as well. She was so happy to see all that she had gotten and since she is also my Mary Kay lady, I was able to pick up a bronzer, eye shadow and mascara just in time for our trip.
I will say this, being that we are both in direct sales, it is nice when they patronize your business and you are able to do the same! At the same time, build new friendships. In fact, ladies can and do both businesses. :-)
On another note, I am so close to staying home, I can taste it. Our big recruititng event is coming up and I am only 5 new jewelers away from being able to stay home so for those of you that follow or read this blog and think you could be a jewelry lady, please call me 505-918-6505. The investment is small, you get tons of jewelry to wear and show and it is tax deductible because it is the cost of doing business!
I will happily mail you a marketing plan. :-) and go over it with you on the phone. Just imagine doing only 4 shows a month and being able to put an extra $1k into the family budget!!! Its the perfect way to earn extra money, get out of the house if you are staying at home, flexible for students, fun for everyone!!! Call me, you will be glad you did!

Busy day

I know today is the day of Rapture but Im not seeing anything happen. I wonder if I am supposed to...anyway, we did a ton of running around and cleaning before our big trip out of town. I am trying to finish putting in these last 2 shows and getting everything ordered and get my 2 new jewelers signed up and invite people like crazy to my event.

I think keeping ourselves busy is a good thing but always make sure you take time to rest and relax and give thanks for your blessings and of course let your family and friends know how much they mean to you! Limo Ride!

I will be going on a girls day out with my Premier Designs jewelry ladies! Riding around in a limo, being treated to lunch and shopping, yes please. I dont know any other company that would or does that for their employees, just for having fun and working. I am very excited!!
I am excited for the new ladies I am adding to my family and the new growth and experiences for them! This has been and continues to be life changing for me!
On a great side note, the birth of our son is finally paid off so yes, we are yet another step closer to me staying home! That seems like something so very small, yet it is so very exciting for me! I am so excited to take him places and have adventures, things he will always remember! Here is to making memories!!
Oh I also wanted to let you know of some new diapers Pampers has out, super cute! They are argyle for boys and a cute pink design for girls! Much more appealing that the Sesame Street characters they currently have on the cruisers. I have always been loyal to Pampers for my son because they work so well! :-)
One last thing, I did some research on couponing yesterday because we currently use coupons as much as we can.  I dont want to pay to belong to a club or have to buy 46 mustards to get them cheap or anything like that, just wanting to save a little more than I am now. Stores in my area arent big on doubling and tripling coupons but you can use manufacturers coupons with store coupons on the same items. :-) Any little extra way to save a few bucks is worth it right, especially when you find what you want on sale and you have a coupon!!

Making Progress that we can see!

After a successful TV interview and a good home show yesterday I am off to another at noon today! It is a pool party/ jewelry party! I love how flexible this is! My hostess yesterday invited 61 people!! Holy moly and I am outfitting an entire wedding party with jewelry-can you believe that?  She also made milk chocolate dipped strawberries with white chocolate drizzled over them. Yummmm and I dont even like chocolate lol.
I am excited to make my bank deposit on Monday! When I make a large deposit, it always gets people interested. :-) I am also going out this weekend to recruit and build my team! I have some lofty goals but I am bound and determined to make it happen! I am so ready to stay home!
I also need to pay for 2 plane tickets and a few other things in the next couple of weeks so I am going to be all out crazy and making it happen! I can do it and with God listening to and answering my prayers, I am confident I can do it!
I, well my husband and I have also decided to get a Shark Steam then Vac. I think Wal-Mart has the best price and I wont have to pay for shipping. That is going to be my birthday present this year. :-) My big birthday present will be staying home but it will be nice to have germ free floors too! Woo hoo!  I will be looking for coupons and good deals on this product, so please keep your eyes out for me!
I will be having a pretty busy week between still working my full time job and all of the things I am doing with Premier but I think I can do it! Encouraging words are always welcome!  I hope you are enjoying keeping up with me.  We are making progress and we are working on our plan more and more everyday. It seems like a slow process, it is but it is worth it and Rome wasnt built in a day. It all takes time and I get frusterated sometimes and want to throw in the towel but at the end of the day and seeing my little son laugh and smile make it all worth it! Hang in there if you are working to stay at home too! It will happen!!!

A lot to look forward to....

I am so happy the weekend is here, the weather is beautiful and I will be on TV getting interviewed and showing different fashion and trendy looks for the spring and summer. Saturday I have a show with a hostess that wants $571 in free jewelry so she is going to have a big pre-sale order and a lot of guests at her show. On Sunday, I have a jewelry and pool party that will be huge as well! I am excited about the opportunities and how everything is coming together!
Everyday, I am getting closer and closer to being able to stay home with my precious son and not have to pay the baby sitter anymore! It will be so nice! So please help me keep spreading the word about my business, every little bit helps! I am more than happy to mail catalogs to anyone and everyone. This might just be the oppotunity you need but maybe didnt even know was out there.
Premier was something I stumbled across, a necklace on a lady caught my eye. I wasnt looking for anything at all but when I heard about the company and that it is based on biblical principles, I knew it was for me!
I will certainly update you on my progress after this weekend. I am hoping I can add 3 new jewelers too. :-) We will see what the Lord has in store for me and for my business.

Its a good day!

With 2 shows this weekend and both hostesses being so excited, I am hoping both are a huge success! I have made it a huge priority to attend National Rally in Dallas. I am going to be driving and hopefully car pooling with some great ladies. I would love to be able to pay for that this weekend! I have also implemented my latest deal, SPEND $70, GET 1 ITEM HALF PRICE!!!!
I hope some of you that read this will take advantage, maybe book a home show or catalog show and get even more free and half price jewelry. I am also going out on a limb and getting very creative in my efforts to build my team so please help me share this wonderful company wtih anyone who needs GOD and jewelry in their lives. I would love to talk to them and they can be anywhere. :-)
This company compensates its jewelers very well! It will blow you away.
This is the only way I am going to be able to stay home with my son so I am asking all of you for your help and support! Shop, hold a catalog or home show or join me in a very wonderful company. :-)

On another note, some advice if you are looking to cut your costs! You can negotiate those subscriptions to Qwest and Directv once a year! My sister just save a couple hundred bucks a year. So get on the phones ladies and make those bank accounts happy! As a reward take yourself, your family or a friend on a picnic. :-)

New blessings and new opportunities

After a wonderful meeting last night full of recognititon and learning new tips and tricks and of course the giveaways and praise, I left with a reassurance and new goals. I love Premier! What a great company and great group of women to be a part of! Everyone is so enthusiastic and positive.  They are like sisters, the kind that never fight.  Oh and I didnt mention the best part, I WON FREE JEWELRY!!!!!
I bet by now someone out there is thinking "this sounds fun", "I could be a jewelry lady", "My friend would love this" or something of that nature. I think things like that all the time. In fact because I knew someone, somewhere out there was thinking that, I put my contact information on the top of my blog.
I would also like to thank Susan for being the first to comment on not just one but three of my posts! That was so exciting to see and read! It made my day, so thank you Susan! I also have a follower now and I love that! Thank you again! This is exactly what I was hoping for when I started this! I wanted to touch someones life or give them an opportunity to achieve their wildest dreams like I am, that is exactly why Andy and Joan created this company. It was meant so women like me, like us, could stay home and care for our kids and still have an income, one that exceeds what some of you are making working a full time job!

I need your advice so please comment...
I know I have dreams, I know I am not scared to ask for help, I know what I want in life and I am not afraid to go get it and make it happen.
Do you think it is wrong for me to ask others to help me by hosting home shows or catalog shows? I dont think it is wrong. They are going to benefit with our awesome hostess plan and I will be doing all of the work but also getting one step closer to being at home with my son!
In fact, I have reached out, I have asked for help, is that wrong? I am not doing it to use anyone, most of them are happy to help and LOVE the jewelry but I dont want to seem tacky either.
What are your takes?

I had a great homeshow yesterday! It is always nice to see everyone! I am closing in on my goal of 12 shows in May and I am committed to a new incentive Premier Designs is offering! Fashion Show Success

After a wonderful night last night full of glitz and glamour and hair and makeup, I am tired.  However, dressing the girls in their clothing and accessories, aka, jewelry was a blast!
Everyone looked great and loved the jewelry! The girls were amazing as they strutted their stuff on the runway...I even got some pictures taken of me haha and I got announced and sold some jewelry. I would say all in all it was a success!
I also met some key individuals that are really "in" the fashion world.  It seems strange being that this is Albuquerque but they really knew what they were talking about and do massive shows on a weekly basis in and around the area. I never knew that.
I am really excited to see what the future holds and please keep praying that everyday, I am one day closer to being a full time mommy and jewelry lady. Premier Designs is by far the best company to be a part of it that is your goal as well!!!
By the way, if you are in your 30's...ORANGE is the IN color! I love Jessica Simpson shoes and these are great! I will take care of your jewelry, get these shoes and then call me!!

Affirmation!

This morning I was getting my son dressed so he could ride with daddy to the babysitters house. He was screaming and crying because he knew he had to leave me. It absolutely broke my heart! I got tears in my eyes with him and reassured him how much I love and adore him but he was clinging to me and saying momma, momma, momma. He just wanted me.
I got him in his carseat and snuggled down with his bear and blankets and gave him extra kisses and love. He stopped crying and I told him it wouldnt be long.
That was terrible but also very, very motivating to get home even sooner!!
Tonight is a HUGE fashion show here in town and I am providing all of the jewelry! I am hoping and praying I can sell a ton, book a bunch of home shows and add 7 people to my team. I know people will be coming in from all over so it the perfect opportunity to build my business and give others the chance to change their lives as well. I pray that it is a very successful night for me that leads into opportunities beyond my dreams so I can be home with my son!
I am ready to go and have my day planned out. It is going to be long and I probably wont be home until 11pm but hopefully all of my preperation and effort really pays off!

Fashion Show!

I met with the clothing designer, Anita Colon last night to match my Premier Designs jewelry with the outfits and got everything picked out! Its going to be a huge event!!!! I also just got off the phone with the event coordinator who sent out 5,000 invitations and I just viewed the confirmed list! It is HUGE!!! This could really be what I need to send my business sky rocketing! Cross your fingers and say your prayers for me!
I am going prepared to work and take orders like crazy! Bring your check books and credit cards people, its jewelry time!
Aside from that I feel like I am so busy my head is spinning but that is OK with me because pretty soon I will be home with my little man and I will have much more time for jewelry, cuddling and providing a wonderful, loving home for my husband and son!
Oh and I also started training for the 5k run that my sister and I are going to be participating in.  It will be next month in June so I have about 6 weeks. I was a sprinter and hurdler in high school but that was 10+ years ago and to be honest, I am not much of a runner. In fact my training program started with a one mile brisk walk followed by 2 minute run, walk intervals until I had reached 3.5 miles. Whew, and I was pushing a jogging stroller loaded with a one year old and a dog. But it felt great to do it, one day at a time, I will get there and it will be fun to do this race with my sister. :-)

Big News and Many Changes

With all of the excitement this weekend, the royal wedding, being wrapped up in one little boys super birthday party, Osama bin Laden being killed and everything else going on in ones life, I realize, with everyday, there are many opportunities to get down, feel sorry for yourself but also to be thankful, to be humble and to be gracious!
There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful to be an American and living in this great country where I have the right to work or stay home or do as I choose. I also have the right to wear the clothes I wish and be who I want. Others dont always have that freedom,
Although we are "free", we must never forget that freedom isnt free.  It comes at a cost. There are many men and women out there putting their lives on the lines for us, people they dont even know. Their families and loves ones praying for them daily and yet, above all, they protect us and OUR families. It amazes me! I am so thankful to those selfless individuals!
Switching gears, to a lighter note and back to the topic of my journey to be a stay at home mom. I am going to the designers house tonight to show her my jewelry.  It turns out there are two shows and not just one.  That means, two opportunities and not just one! I am very excited for this new door and to see what is on the other side for my business. I am praying it puts me a few steps closer to my goal!
Ive also booked yet another show. I am still trying to get to 12! I will get there.
I have all kinds of stuff for Premier going on in the next 10 days so things will be very busy! I must, must, must hit my goal of at least 3 new jewelers by the 17th so please everyone mention me in your prayers! Its coming, I can feel it.
I have some phone calls to make to book a few more shows and get guests to training and our Shopertunity! Although, I am double booked on Wednesday so I'll be calling in some resources for sure.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for coming to my sons birthday and the great gifts he got! His favorite was a plush pony and this race car set that he cant get enough of! How cute it is to see all ages of little kids playing and blowing bubbles and getting along so well! It was great to see all of our wonderful friends as well.  We are so very blessed for those that we have in our lives!
